“ Le Segatier Resto So, the wife and I went on the hunt for chicken wings. We went to a few places, that were either closing or not what we wanted. We found this place with me thinking the wife was going to hate it cause of the word “buffet”. How wrong I was. At lunch time, we found the place to have a very welcoming atmosphere and the staff very hospitable. Regarding the food. We like eating out in good restaurants, and we love street food just as much. So no food critics or snobs here. Just people wanting happy tummy’s. The crispy chicken. Nothing fancy, just good crispy ole chicken with nice flavors. Not the rubbish you get mass produced from other vendors. Local rums. Vanilla or passion fruit. Both authentic flavors and very good, and of course, local Pheonix beer. Nice tunes island style playing through the house sound system. Live music on this evening. Really enjoying the Mauritian island vibes. & looking forward to coming back. “ Le Ségatier Resto was such a lucky find on our Sunday road trip! With most places closed, we ended up in Port Louis and I suddenly remembered their amazing crispy calamari. To my delight, they also had octopus on the menu exactly what I’d been craving. I went for the octopus curry with rice and cucumber salad, and it was absolutely delicious. They serve octopus in different ways, so there’s something for everyone. Honestly, I was over the moon with my meal, and I can’t wait to go back! ”
